Pope Francis' Intention for February

The Vatican - You are invited to pray with Pope Francis during the month of February to support his say "No" to corruption campaign.

Please pray for those who have material, political or spiritual power that they may resist the lure of corruption.

As we celebrate the Feast of Our Lord's Presentation in the Temple, Lord help us mirror Jesus' poverty, simplicity, transparency, innocence and goodness on this very important occasion in the Church.

Lord, help us present ourselves to You each day with a lively Faith, vibrant Hope and abundant Charity. We ask this through the intercession of Mary our Blessed Mother, Good Saint Joseph guardian dear and Our Beloved Lord Jesus, who teaches us how to be meek and humble of heart. Amen

Celebrate National Sanctity of Human Life Day 2018!

Washington DC - Thousands of people are gathered throughout the United States to celebrate National Sanctity of Human Life Day. Young and old gather to march, witness and pray for an increase awareness in our Nation of the Sanctity of Human Life. Let us continue to praise God for our many blessings especially the right to life and the sacredness of being children of God. Join us as we pray for the protection of all life from conception to natural death:

"Our Father, who art in heaven. Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done on earth as it is heaven. Give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us and lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil. For thine is the kingdom, power and glory now and forever. Amen"

Call to Discipleship! 2018

Call of Discipleship 2018 - "Lord God, Your servant Jeremiah spoke your words in the face of great opposition and at personal cost. He fearlessly obeyed your call upon his life and challenged that which he knew to be wrong. May we be as steadfast in our obedience to you and willing to forsake our own peace and security in the pursuit of your truth and justice. Lord, in your mercy - Hear our prayer.

As we gather together today we acknowledge that there are many concerns which trouble our hearts and minds. We recognise Heavenly Father that You care for us deeply and know us intimately. So we place into your hands those things which disturbs us. Lord, in your mercy - Hear our prayer.

We pray for those who are dear to us and who are in any kind of need. In a moment of silence we speak quietly our own prayers as we bring before God those for whom we are concerned.

Jesus Christ is the Light of the World,
a light which no darkness can quench.
We remember before God those who have died and light a candle to symbolise the light of Christ which eternally shines and brings hope." Amen

Reverence for Life 2018!

Respect for Life 2018 - This week we celebrate the gift of life and the grace of respecting all life from conception to natural death. Thousands will march and millions will pray for our culture to respect life from conception to natural death. Let us join all efforts to witness to the good, the beautiful and the true of all God's creation. Let us thank God for the gift of life by our witness and gift of prayer as we pray:

"Gentle St. Francis, you were so devoted to the humanity of Christ. Your heart burst with appreciation toward God for taking on human life.
You saw beauty and goodness in all living things -
in birds that sing, the fish that fill our waters,
and all that lives in nature.

Help us to imitate your reverence for life
wherever it may be. Especially, humble Francis of Assisi, help us to help others to see the worth of each living, unborn baby sheltered in its mother's womb.

May all mankind have the grace to understand that these tiny, budding lives have the right to live,
liberty, and the pursuit of happiness." Amen
