A Blessed Thanksgiving 2015!

Thanksgiving 2015 - Psalm 100 is a common Thanksgiving prayer that includes a deep sense of love and gratitude: "Serve the Lord with gladness: come before his presence with singing. Know that the Lord is God. Enter into his gates with thanksgiving and into his courts with praise."

A Thanksgiving prayer could be personal, adding the blessings that you and your family received throughout the year. Joanna Fuchs also has numerous examples of Thanksgiving prayers including, "Dear Lord, we come to You today with a humble attitude for all you give, our hearts are full of love and gratitude. Thank you for this special time to offer our Thanksgiving. Thank you for this food, and for the blessed lives we're living. In Jesus' name we pray; Amen."

Let us join together in spirit as we offer our prayers of gratitude this Thanksgiving Season. We thank God for all our family and ask God for His continued blessings on you and all your loved ones. A Blessed Holy Thanksgiving to all!

Gratitude 2015

Scottsdale, AZ - Join us in prayer as we thank God for our many blessings. In these seemly difficult times of war, violence, abuse and unrest. We must remember God has triumphed over evil through His Divine presence incarnate throughout the world. He gave us His Son Jesus Christ to be with us always. The Word became flesh and dwells among us to bring all things into fulfillment according to God's Divine Plan.

Our life in God is manifested in us each time we pray and live the Gospel life according to His beatific vision and commandments. The living Word of God comes to live in us so that we might have eternal life. God has already saved the world. It is our job to live our life in God and do His most perfect will.

Let us continue to be grateful for our many blessings during this Thanksgiving season. Let us focus on goodness and loving others with a generous heart. In love we shall find unity and peace, which the world cannot give. Let us continue to be a people of thanksgiving and prayer. Amen

World Peace 2015

United Nations News - Please pray for the furthering of world peace and for healing of all those effected by terrorist attacks. Out of tragedy comes a sign of hope. US President Barack Obama and Vladimir Putin of Russia agreed Sunday on a UN role to end the bloodshed in Syria, as the Paris attacks jolted leaders into seeking a united front against Islamic State jihadists.

Putting aside important differences, Obama and Putin met over a coffee table on the sidelines of the Group of 20 summit in Turkey after the Paris bombing and shooting assaults, which killed at least 129 people and sparked global outrage.

"The conversation lasted approximately 35 minutes and centered around ongoing efforts to resolve the conflict in Syria, an imperative made all the more urgent by the horrifying terrorist attacks in Paris," a US official said.

Lord, help us further peace in our hearts, peace in our homes, peace in our countries and peace throughout the world. Grace us with a lasting unity that fosters love and concern for all. In you all things are possible. Amen

Mary, Queen of peace, pray for us.

Frostpoof, Ohio - A 58 year-old retired school teacher from a small town in Ohio is in stable but critical condition Thursday after 60 percent of her body was burned in a fiery crash Wednesday.

Martha Oberley, of Minford, Ohio, was airlifted to Tampa General Hospital with severe burns and other injuries and was originally in extremely critical condition, the Polk County Sheriff's Office said.

According to Oberley's family members, she is now stable but still in critical condition in the ICU burn unit at Tampa General.

"She has our God on her side and she is in a great hospital, well-equipped to take care of her," wrote her daughter Mikell Nicole Rase Wednesday evening.

She said Paul Oberley, Oberley's 80-year-old husband who was also in the crash, is able to be by her side.

The crash happened about 2 p.m. Wednesday as a white 2015 Ford F-150 truck, driven by 31-year-old Benjamin Hammonds of North Charleston, S.C., was heading north on U.S. 27 approaching U.S. 98 near Frostproof when, for unknown reasons, the truck turned left abruptly, cutting across the turn lane, median and southbound lanes, Sheriff's Office spokeswoman Carrie Horstman said.

The pickup truck struck the RV on the front passenger side nearly head-on and continued on until it came to rest in a ditch, Horstman said.

The RV burst into flames upon collision.

Paul Oberley was taken by ambulance to Tampa General Hospital and is now doing well, according to family members.

Let us pray for Martha and all people suffering and in critical condition. Lord, bless the doctors and nurses who attend them and all their loved ones that they may receive your healing care a this critical time.

Phoenix AZ Toddler and 3 Yr Old in Need of Prayers

Phoenix, AZ - A Phoenix toddler has died after he was found by his parents in the family's swimming pool and a 3-year-old girl slipped into a Jacuzzi before being rescued by adults at a West Phoenix apartment complex.

The Phoenix Fire Department responded to a call just after 11:30 a.m. Saturday of a drowning at a home near 75th Avenue and Camelback Road.

Capt. Jonathan Jacobs says firefighters administered CPR to a 1-year-old boy, who was not breathing.

Firefighters then took him to Phoenix Children's Hospital, where he later died.

Authorities say both parents were home, and the pool had a fence.

Later in the afternoon, firefighters responded to another drowning call near 33rd Avenue and Peoria.

Jacobs said a 3-year-old girl was attending another child's birthday party when adults moved eight to 10 children into the Jacuzzi area. The 3-year-old girl somehow slipped underwater and went unnoticed until adults pulled her out to administer CPR.

Lord, help all parents to be more vigilant and dedicated to the supervision and care of their children throughout their life. Eternal rest grant unto to all children who have died recently. May your perpetual light shine upon them and may your promise of eternal life console their family and friends. Amen
