Pope Francis' Intentions for April 2018

The Vatican - Pope Francis' intentions for the month of April is related to global economic concerns. He has asked us to pray for those who have responsibility in economic matters.

April intention: "That economists may have the courage to reject any economy of exclusion and know how to explore new ways forward."

Lord, remember the economically disadvantaged, especially those without jobs or those who are exploited by unfair labor practices and wages. We also pray for the little ones of Christ, the sick, the poor, the homeless and the marginalized. May they receive the help and resources they need to live a healthy, productive life. We ask this through the intercession of the Holy Family of Nazareth Jesus, Mary and Joseph. Amen

Celebrate the Pascal Mysteries!

The Triduum - We encourage you to enter into the Pascal Mysteries with us as we celebrate "The Triduum". The summit of the Liturgical Year is the Easter Triduum-from the evening of Holy Thursday to the evening of Easter Sunday. Though the Easter Triduum is chronologically three days, they are liturgically one day unfolding for us the unity of Christ's Paschal Mystery.

The single celebration of the Triduum marks the end of the Lenten season, and leads to the Mass of the Resurrection of the Lord at the Easter Vigil.
The liturgical services that take place during the Triduum are: "Mass of the Lord's Supper", "Good Friday of the Lord's Passion", and "Mass of the Resurrection of the Lord". For more information about these services see the US Catholic Council of Bishops' website.

This Holy Triduum begins the Easter Season, which is a source of great grace and blessing. Join us as we share in our Lord's life, death and resurrection. Experience our Lord's presence among us during these sacred days of Easter.

A Most Blessed Holy Easter to you and your family! - the prayer team

Remembrance of The Passion of the Lord

Palm Sunday 2018 -As we relive the commemoration of our Lord's entrance into Jerusalem, let us remember the importance of praising God in our lives for His many blessings and the gift of living a grace-filled life. If we spend our lives praising and thanking God, we will be open to His visitation and guidance. Each day we will become more aware of the gifts of the Holy Spirit, which God shares with us and discover new ways to know, love and serve Him.

Lord, helps us to be more attentive to your presence and more responsive to your Will throughout this Lenten and Easter Season. Amen

Be fully present to God for He waits for us to be fully present to Him. May the Lord continue to bless you and your family during Lent and throughout Holy Week and the sacred days ahead. - the prayer team

A Prayer to Saint Joseph 2018

Feast of Saint Joseph 2018 - We would like to thank you all for sharing your prayer intentions with us and praying for others. When you intercede for others, you are united with Jesus and all the Saints.

Many of the intentions we receive are related to temporal and spiritual needs. Following is a powerful prayer in honor of Saint Joseph, as we celebrate his Feast Day on March 19th. Saint Joseph is a great intercessor for a happy prosperous life and holy death. Please ask him daily to present your intentions to the Holy Trinity. He is a Holy and faithful spouse of the Holy Spirit, the Church and all souls.

A Prayer To Saint Joseph

"O blessed Joseph, faithful guardian of my Redeemer, Jesus Christ, protector of thy chaste spouse, the virgin Mother of God, I choose thee this day to be my special patron and advocate and I firmly resolve to honor thee all the days of my life. Therefore I humbly beseech thee to receive me as thy client, to instruct me in every doubt, to comfort me in every affliction, to obtain for me God's choicest blessings, especially all knowledge and love of the Heart of Jesus, and finally to defend and protect me at the hour of my death. Amen" - from EWTN's Devotional prayers

Good Saint Joseph pray for us and all those in like need! - the prayer team
